Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic, new, or both?
- The Booking Status feature is available to both those using items (Inventory > Items), a key feature of our classic version of Checkfront, and those using products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our newest version of Checkfront.
New to Checkfront - Products ✨ Products (Inventory > Products) is the successor feature to (Inventory > Items) and is available in our newest version of Checkfront. Creating a new status
Back to topCreating a new status is helpful if you find that your business has other actions that you want to communicate to your Staff or Customers.
To arrive at the status page, visit the Statuses tab (Manage > Layout > Statuses).
To create a new status, click on the +Add button below and to the left of the current status list.
All you need to do is choose a Name that is visible on the invoices, plus a unique Status ID (maximum 5 characters).
When ready, click the blue Create button and your custom status is added to the list.

Back to topClick on the colour picker button beside the status label to customize your new or existing status.
In the colour picker, choose a status colour and click OK to apply your selection.
Make sure to select Save when you're done!
