In this article, we will review how to navigate and filter bookings within the Daily Manifest including how to gain Insights into your daily bookings, jump to dates with bookings and filter the Daily Manifest by Start Time, Category and Item.
Be sure to read the first article in this series for an introduction to the Daily Manifest!
Navigate by DateBack to top
The Daily Manifest provides a table view of bookings on a daily basis. By default, bookings for Today display. You can jump back (<<) and forward (>>) to dates with bookings or easily view the next day's bookings by clicking the Tomorrow button. Click Today to return to Today's booking view at any time. Who knew time travel is now possible?!
Alternatively, you can choose a specific date by selecting the date from the calendar or entering the date directly into the field provided.
The date selector calendar includes a visual indicator of dates with bookings (blue dot), so that you can quickly and easily determine which dates within the calendar have bookings.
As the Daily Manifest is a daily view of bookings, it is not possible to view bookings based on a date range.
Filter by Start TimeBack to top
Bookings displayed can be further filtered by Time. Selecting this option limits the bookings displayed to those with a matching Start Time, taking into consideration any other Category and Item filters you may have applied.
Manually deleting the value in the Time field clears any Time criteria applied and returns the filter to the default value.
Filter by CategoryBack to top
Clicking on Select under the Category label opens a drop-down menu of available inventory Categories.
Select one or more Categories from the list to filter out bookings from the other Categories, leaving a view of the items booked from your chosen Categories.
If you have a long list of Categories, simply start entering the name of the Category and the list will be limited to those that start with the same letters. From there, you can easily select the Category!
Filter by ItemBack to top
You can also filter the Daily Manifest for one or more Items. Simply click Select under the Item label to open the Item drop-down menu and the list of available inventory Items will display.
This filter can be used independently or in tandem with the Category filter. If one or more Categories are selected, then the Item list will be restricted to those available for the selected Category or Categories.
As with the Category filter, you can also type in the name of the Item you are looking for and the list will be limited to those Items that match your entry. This is a convenient option for those who have long lists of inventory!
Expand & Collapse BookingsBack to top
There are two ways to Expand or Collapse the bookings to reveal or hide the Guest List. By default, the booking rows are collapsed and Guest List hidden.
To the far right of the Time, Category and Item filters is an option to Expand or Collapse all rows.
Alternatively, you can Expand or Collapse a listing independently by clicking on the down arrow (v) to the left of the Booking Code.
