Accessing the guest form settings
You are transferred to a new tab in your Booking Manager's Layout area (Manage > Layout) upon activation.
The Guest Form tab sits between the Booking Form and Invoice tabs.
We have divided the Guest Form tab into two sections, Guest Details and Archived Fields, which we look at in greater detail later in this series.
Starting with the default guest form fields
By default, the Guest Details section is pre-populated with three required fields - First Name, Last Name, and E-mail.
|
Optional booking form fields You can make the First Name, Last Name, and Email fields optional. Where the name fields are not collected, the booking form inserts the word "Guest" for the Customer's name. |
Editing guest form fields
To edit an existing Guest field, click the Edit link to the right of the field. This link opens the Guest Form field editor in edit mode.
Adding new guest form fields
To add a new Guest Form field, click the link labeled Add new guest field below the list of current fields. This button opens the Guest Form Field editor in create mode.
Whether creating a new field from scratch or editing an existing field, you can configure various options that define the field's appearance and functionality.
