Logging in to the Android app

With the Checkfront Android app installed, the next step is logging in. This article walks you through entering your credentials and host URL to connect the app to your Checkfront account.

Unavailable for download on newer devices

Our Android app is currently unavailable for download from the Google Play Store on select newer devices. We're working to restore support and will share updates here as soon as it's available again.

What more do I need to use this feature?

  • Admin or Staff user accounts only. Partner account logins are not supported.
     

Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic items, classic products, or both?

  • This feature is available in both our classic versions: classic items (Inventory > Items) and classic products (Inventory > Products).  → Learn more about products
  • Important: Only the QR Code Scanner feature of the app, used to check in Guests via QR Barcodes on invoices, is supported for products (Inventory > Products) at this time.

Once the Android Mobile App is downloaded to your device and launched from the home screen, you first see the login screen.

  1. Enter your username. This is the email address associated with your account.
  2. Enter your password, as you do on the desktop site.
  3. Enter your Checkfront Account URL. This address is the subdomain (without https://) you use to access your account online, and it looks similar to companyname.checkfront.com.  
  4. Tap the Log In button to submit your credentials.

You only need to enter your username and Account URL once. On your subsequent visits, the login details are saved in the Log In As section. Tap on the login details to proceed.

You still need to input your password to continue, but the rest of the information is entered automatically.
