Navigating the Android mobile booking app
The Android Mobile Booking App opens on the Home Screen. You can easily navigate the app to find the information you need or create a new booking.
Using the app home screen
Now that you're on the home screen, you can see a summary of your bookings, organized into groups to enable quick access to the most relevant upcoming information, for example:
- New
- Tomorrow
- Checkins
- Inhouse
- Checkouts
- Upcoming
- Bookmarks
-
Find (bookings) by calendar
Tapping one of these groups opens a new screen with a list of all matching bookings. These bookings can then be viewed by the Customer who made the booking or by the Items/products associated with the bookings.
You can make your choice by tapping the Customers or Items tabs at the top of the screen.
Tap this option to view your newest bookings. These are bookings input since the last user login, a list of all new bookings in your Checkfront account.
Tomorrow
Tap this option to view tomorrow's bookings. These are bookings that begin the following day.
Checkins
Tap this option to view bookings that start today. These are bookings that begin on the current day.
Inhouse
Tap this option to view currently active bookings. This includes bookings that start today, as well as those already ongoing.
Checkouts
Tap this option to view bookings that are ending on the current day.
Upcoming
Tap this option to view bookings that begin on the current day or the next seven days.
Bookmarks
Tap this option to view bookings that you have bookmarked in your account for quick access.
Find by Calendar
Tap this option to access a monthly calendar. Any day with a booking displays a circle with the number of bookings. Tap on any of these to access a list of the bookings for that day.
The display can be filtered further using the options at the top of the screen. These are Starting, In Progress, and Ending. If an option is active, it is highlighted in bold blue. If an option is not active, it is presented in grey.
Back Arrow
You can return to the home screen at any time by clicking the back arrow at the top left of the screen.
