- Admin or restricted permissions to View calendars (to view the page), View items, products and assets (to view the data within the page).

Navigating by date
The following date options allow you to optimize the Asset Calendar to meet your needs.
Jumping to Today's Date
You can return focus to today's inventory using the Today button. Follow these steps:
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Click the Today button.
Jumping to the previous or next day/week
You can jump back (<) to the previous day/week or forward (>) to the next day/week.
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Click the jump back (<) or forward (>) buttons until you arrive at the desired time window.
Selecting the start date
For an alternative layout, you can choose a specific start date by selecting a date from the drop-down calendar or entering it directly into the field provided.
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Click in the date field next to the Today button.
- Enter or select the start date.
Viewing asset assignments by day or week
By default, the system presents your assets by Day. Select Week from the drop-down menu to view the assignments by week.
This layout provides a more compact calendar, but you can hover over an assignment's name to open an overview with additional details, including the associated product name and the time increment booked.
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Open the view by day or week drop-down next to the date selector.
- Select the day or week option.

Filtering by category
Clicking the arrow under the Category label opens a drop-down menu of available asset categories. By default, the system displays all asset categories within the calendar.
Select one or more categories from the list to filter out a select asset by category, leaving only those from your chosen categories.
Do you have a long list of categories? You can enter the category's name in the search field above the open menu, and the list is limited to those values that start with the same letters. From there, you can easily select the category!
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Click the Category field to open the drop-down menu.
- Select one or more categories from the displayed list.
Filtering by asset pool
You can filter your Asset Calendar display by Asset Pool. Filtering by asset pool lets you focus on specific assets when examining assets linked to your product offerings. For example, you need to confirm shuttle bus availability for your bus tours. By default, the system lists all asset pools within the calendar.
Do you have a long list of asset pools? You can enter the asset pool's name in the search field above the open menu, and the list is limited to those values that start with the same letters. From there, you can easily select the asset pool.
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Click the Asset Pool filter to open the drop-down menu.
- Select one or more asset pools from the displayed list.
Filtering by availability status
You can filter your Asset Calendar display by Availability Status. Filtering by this status lets you isolate assets and focus your efforts, for example, by confirming asset availability for your product offerings. By default, the system displays assets with all availability statuses.
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Click the Availability Status filter to open the drop-down menu.
- Select a status from the displayed list - All (default), Available, or Unavailable.
- All - This value indicates that the system includes assets with all availability statuses in the calendar.
- Available - This status indicates that the asset is available for assignment.

Unavailable - This status indicates that the asset is unavailable for assignment.
You can filter your Asset Calendar display by Assignment Status. Filtering by this status lets you isolate assets and focus your efforts, for example, by confirming that Staff has assigned assets correctly. By default, the system includes all assets regardless of assignment status.
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Click the Assignment Status filter to open the drop-down menu.
- Select a status from the displayed list - All, Confirmed, On Hold, or No assignment.
- Confirmed - This status indicates that a Staff member has manually or automatically confirmed the assignment.
- On Hold - This status indicates that the system has reserved the asset for one or more bookings.
- No assignment - This status indicates that the system has not reserved the asset and that no Staff member has assigned it to any bookings.
Expanding or collapsing content
When you first navigate to the Asset Calendar, the system expands the category sections and collapses the asset rows. You can expand and collapse the asset and category sections using the arrows next to each label. You can also expand and collapse rows using the options at the right-hand side of each category row.
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Click the Expand or Collapse rows option.
- Scroll down the page to view the assets in focus.
Sharing or bookmarking the Asset Calendar
You can share a link to the Asset Calendar! Copy the URL from the Asset Calendar page's browser address bar and paste it into the preferred communication channel. Clicking the link takes you to the Asset Calendar with any applied filters.
You can bookmark the Asset Calendar page in your browser to quickly return to your preferred view.
To access the linked content, recipients of shared links need to have Staff account access to view the Inventory Calendar. When clicking the link, the system prompts Staff to log in if they have not already logged in.
- Go to Calendar > Asset.
- Copy the URL from your browser address bar to share the link.
- Bookmark the page to return to it later with select filters applied.
Remembering filters
You can configure your account to retain your filter selections across most reports and features, so you don't have to select your preferred filters repeatedly.
