New bookings and account updates Whenever the system receives additional information via a booking or a guest form, it updates the Customer's account. This includes creating a new booking for the Customer, using their email to complete a guest form and attributing the Customer to the booking. Fields with existing information are never overwritten. |
Editing bookings from Customer accounts
If Customers are allowed to modify their bookings, they can edit a booking from their Customer Profile by following these steps:
- Log in to your Customer Account and navigate to your profile.
- Click the Booking Code for the booking on the My Account page, under the Bookings tab.
- Click the Edit this booking link at the top right of the invoice.
Once the Customer selects this link, the system directs the Customer to the Edit Booking screen, which features two tabs: Booking Items and Booking Form.
- Under the Booking Items tab, the Customer can add new items/products to extend their booking or edit the items/products currently on the invoice.
- Under the Booking Form tab, Customers can edit their contact details.
Note that Customers cannot edit bookings directly from their Booking Receipt page.
Adding an item/product from the Booking Items tab
An item/product can be added to the invoice by clicking the + Add Item button at the top right.
From the pop-up window, the Customer can edit the category, item/product, the start/end date, and relevant booking parameters.
When ready, the Customer must click Save to add the new item or product to their invoice.
The Customer can then view the revised balance due.
Editing an item/product from the Booking Items tab
An item/product on the invoice can be edited by clicking the Edit Item button to its right.
Editing an item/product is similar to adding a new one. The Customer can change the item/product they have booked or remove it from the invoice.
Regardless of the option chosen, the balance is adjusted automatically on the invoice. The Customer can then apply an additional payment or contact you for a refund.
Updating contact details from the Booking Form tab
Customers can edit their contact details by clicking the Booking Form tab in the Edit Booking screen.
After editing, the Customer needs to click the blue Save button to save any form changes.
