Signing documents
- When it's time for the Guest to sign the document, they need to click the signature area to open the signature window.
|
Include a signature variable Ensure your document includes a signature variable; otherwise, the signing area does not appear in the live document. The default signature variable is {$field id="primary_signature"} |
- Once the signature window has opened, it’s simply a case of holding down the mouse button and dragging the cursor to sign the document.
- If the signature doesn’t look right, clicking the Retry button clears the workspace and makes it ready for another shot!
- Once satisfied with the signature, the signer clicks the Add Signature button to insert it into the document.
- Once all sections are filled and the steps are complete, the green status bar at the top reflects this, and the Booker or Guest clicks the Submit Document button.
- If the Submit Document button is clicked before the steps are complete, the system highlights missing information, and the Booker or Guest must provide it before proceeding.
The document is now complete!
The Booker or Guest can print or save the document from the Confirmation page to a PDF for future reference.
Once the Booker is ready to continue, they can either continue to the receipt page or return to the Required Documents step if there are more documents to sign.
|
A Booker does not automatically receive a waiver copy A copy of the waiver is NOT automatically sent to the Booker upon signing. However, if the Booker sends the document to other Guests, the Operator receives a completion email each time a Guest signs it. |
