Availability events let you control when Guests or Staff can or cannot book products. Use them to manage seasonal schedules, closures, or special availability windows, ensuring your product calendar remains accurate and your booking process remains smooth.

Accessing availability events
- Go to Inventory → Products, then open the product you want to update.
- Select the Availability tab.
- Scroll down to the Availability Events section.
Managing availability events for your product
Have you created one or more availability events for your product? The system lists added product availability events in a table format, displaying the following information and actions for each event.
You can sort your list of events in ascending (↑) or descending (v) order by clicking on the column headers within the table.
Understanding availability event information
The system displays the following information for each event.
| Value | Learn More |
| Name | A descriptive title for your event, e.g., Summer Season or Winter Maintenance. |
| Type | This is the type of event - availability or closure. |
| Date Range | The date range when this event takes effect. |
| Status | The status of the availability event. Once created, an event is active within the specified date range. |
Showing availability events
By default, the Availability Events table shows Active events. Follow these steps to determine which event statuses are displayed:
- Open the Show drop-down menu within the Availability Events section.
- Select the status of the events you need to show:
- Active: Lists events where the date range has not expired.
- Expired: Lists events where the end date has passed, and you have not deleted the event.
- Archived: Lists closure events that you have archived via Inventory > Products Closures.
- All: Lists all availability events.
- View the updated list of events in the Availability Events table.
Taking action
The following actions are available for availability events depending on their status.

Click on the pencil icon at the end of the row to open the event in edit mode. For step-by-step instructions on editing availability events, check out the following article: |
| Copy |
Click on the ellipses (...) at the end of the row and then the Copy option to open a copy of the availability event. You can update the Event Name and other settings as needed. The event is active as soon as you save your availability event. If your product is also active, the event is immediately live! | Delete |
Click on the ellipses (...) at the end of the row and then the Delete option to permanently delete the event. Once the event is deleted, the event cannot be re-activated! For step-by-step instructions on deleting availability events, check out the following article: |
