How do I archive a product?

Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic items, classic products, or both?

• Your account must have access to classic products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our classic products version of Checkfront. This feature is not available for use with classic items (Inventory > Items) in our classic items version. → Learn more about products. 

What is a product? A product represents the goods, experiences, or services you offer for sale.

You can archive a product, which moves it to the Archived product list and allows you to reactivate it later. To archive a product, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the product (Inventory > Products) you need to archive.
2. Click the product's name to open the Product Builder's edit mode.
3. Select the Archive option from the Actions menu.
4. Click Confirm and Archive to acknowledge the displayed warning. Click the Cancel button to back out of the option.
5. Read the confirmation message and note the Archived label.
   
   "This product is archived and cannot be edited or booked. Any existing bookings for this product remain intact. Unarchive Now."

Archive products Products can only be archived and not deleted.
