Adding a cancellation link
Back to topDo you want to allow your Customers to cancel their booking online without you making the change? You can send them an email notification with a link to do this!
Follow these steps:
- Create or edit an existing Notification (Manage > Notifications).
- Include the {$BOOKING_CANCEL_URL} variable in the email body and save the change.
- Change the booking's status to trigger the notification with the variable to send to the Customer.
When the Customer clicks on the email link, they are brought to the booking receipt page, where they are prompted to Confirm the cancellation.
The booking is then cancelled in the system, and the booking receipt page refreshes to show the Cancelled status.
