Requiring Customer accounts for bookings
You can also require Customers to create Customer accounts to book. You can then archive the account of any problem Customer.
While this does not prevent a Customer from providing different details in a future booking, it does prevent a Customer from logging in to an existing account to make another booking.
|
What is a Customer Account? A Customer Account enables your Customers to log in, book, view, and manage reservations, update their details, and track their reservation history. |

Creating custom booking statuses
Alternatively, you can use a custom booking status to flag the Customer as blocked and apply the status to the Customer's past bookings.
Custom booking statuses do not prevent Customers from booking. However, the status shows in the Customer's booking history, informing the Staff of the issue.
|
What is a booking status? A booking status acts as a visual label and functional state for each booking in your system. |
