- The Invoice feature is available to both those using items (Inventory > Items), a key feature of our classic version of Checkfront, and those using products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our newest version of Checkfront.

Products (Inventory > Products) is the successor feature to (Inventory > Items) and is available in our newest version of Checkfront.

Changing the invoice sort orderBack to top
From the Invoice tab (Manage > Layout > Invoice), select the sort order you want from the Item/Product Sorting Order option.
The available sorting options are as follows: sort by Name, End Date, Start Date, Amount, and Start Date, as entered. The default selected sort order is Start Date, as entered.
An additional option is Ascending Order, which changes the selected display on invoices from highest to lowest or lowest to highest accordingly, depending on which option is enabled.
Once a selection is made, click the blue Save button.
Once changed, all existing and new invoices display automatically in the selected sort order. For example, see the screenshot above, where the invoice sorts by name in ascending order.
