What is an email notification? A notification is an email message sent to your Customers to confirm booking actions and may include a booking confirmation, notice of changes made to the booking, or a payment request. |
Determining if the system has sent a booking notification
Do you want to confirm that an instant or scheduled notification has been sent to recipients, for example, to notify a Customer of a new booking?
If so, there are several areas in Checkfront where the notification status is displayed.
Booking Invoice Log
A sent notification in a booking's Log tab displays as SENT in the Email column.
- If an email fails to send and bounces, it displays as BOUNCE in the Email column.
Account Activity Report
In the Account Activity report (Reports > Account Activity), a sent notification displays as SENT in the Email column.
If an email bounces, it displays as BOUNCE in the Email column.
