Viewing asset pools and assets
Once you have added one or more asset pools, the system lists them on the Assets page along with the following information and options.
Viewing asset pool names
The name of your asset pool (e.g., Single Kayak, Kayak Paddles -200cm, or Life Jackets - Small).
Viewing asset categories
The category for your asset pool.
Asset categories (e.g., Kayaks, Kayak Paddles, Life Jackets) allow you to generally classify your asset pools (e.g., Mountain Bike, Single Kayak, Shuttle Bus, Kayak Paddles - 200cm, Life Jacket - Small), which helps to organize your assets and minimize the complexity of applying assets to products.

Viewing asset assignment as quantity, capacity, or both
The Assigned as column shows how assets for the corresponding asset pools are allocated by quantity, capacity, or both.
Viewing the number of products
The Number of Products column represents the number of products that rely on this asset pool. You can drill down on the number presented to view the list of products in the Products List (Inventory > Products).
Viewing the number of asset sharing products
The Asset Sharing Products column represents the number of products that rely on this shared asset pool. You can drill down on the number presented to view the list of products in the Products List (Inventory > Products).
Viewing the quantity of assets in the asset pool
The asset pool is assigned by the quantity of assets included in this asset pool, for example, 10 Mountain Bikes, 5 Single Kayaks, 4 Shuttle Buses, 25 Kayak Paddles, or 25 Life Jackets.
You can configure products based on the quantity of assets available so they are priced per asset and private to each booking.
For example, a Guest can book one kayak for private use.
View the capacity of the assets in the asset pool
The asset pool is assigned based on each asset's capacity. This value represents the asset's total capacity, including the number of seats or spaces it can accommodate.
Assets with a capacity greater than 1 can support more than 1 Guest booking, for example, Shuttle Buses (10) rather than single-rider Mountain Bikes (1).
Products can then be configured based on each asset's capacity, allowing you to price them per seat and for the system to share them across bookings.
For example, a shuttle bus has a total capacity of 15 people. Fifteen people can each book a seat on the bus for a wine tour.
Viewing totals
The system bases Total asset availability on the quantity of assets multiplied by each asset's capacity within the asset pool. This number is calculated based on quantity and capacity, so the total is read-only.
