Recording refunds in the Android mobile booking app
You can use the Android Mobile Booking App to process and record a refund against one of the payments applied to an invoice in Checkfront.
Recording refunds
Recording a refund in the Android Mobile Booking App is straightforward by tapping on a payment in the transactions list on the invoice Payments screen. This shows you the Payment Details of that transaction.
At the bottom is a button labelled Record as Refunded. Click on that to process the refund.
You cannot refund transactions processed outside the mobile booking app, such as a Visa POS payment. You must refund the payment externally and record it in the app as a POS refund to keep your records up-to-date. You can also process refunds in the desktop browser on your computer.
Once the refund has been recorded, it is added to your transactions list on the Payments screen above.
