Admin permissions to manage inventory or restricted permissions to View products and assets and Manage products and assets.
Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic, new or both?
- Your account must have access to products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our new version of Checkfront. This feature is not available for use with items (Inventory > Items) in our classic version. → Learn more about products.
What are you selling?
Back to topThe What are you selling? setting lets you specify what type of product you are selling. You can choose between the following options.
Product
The product is visible to and can be booked by both Guests and Staff.
Members only Product
This setting is only visible if you have enabled Memberships for your account and have applied this membership product to a membership plan. Learn more here: Introduction to Membership Plans and the Membership Builder.

Upsell
Staff can only book the product via the Staff side of the application.
