Locate: Reports > Booking Index > External Bookings
Prerequisites:
- Admin permissions or restricted permissions to View all Reports or the Booking Index.
- Third-party Channel Integration (e.g. GetYourGuide) with External Bookings
- The Booking Index feature is available to both those using items (Inventory > Items), a key feature of our classic version of Checkfront, and those using products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our newest version of Checkfront. NOTE: The External Bookings feature works with those integrations that are currently supported for use with products (e.g. GetYourGuide).

Access External Bookings
Back to topBookings made through one of your third-party channels (e.g. GetYourGuide) are listed automatically within the Checkfront External Bookings page (Reports > Booking Index > External Bookings).
Simply, click the External Bookings button to review your External Bookings.
External Bookings
Back to topThe External Bookings page is a list of all the bookings that have come in through third-party channels. From here you can view bookings processed and import the bookings into Checkfront. The following data is provided for each External Booking:
- Source
The third-party source through which the booking was processed, for example, myallocator.
- Channel
The Channel through which the booking was processed.
- Customer
The First Name, Last Name, and Email address of the Customer associated with the booking.
- Amount
The Amount of the booking.
- QTY
The number of units associated with the booking. This number corresponds to your item parameters or product guest types in Checkfront.
- Description
The Description of the item or product booked.
- Start Date
The Start Date of the booking.
- End Date
The End Date of the booking.
- Modified
The date the booking was last Modified.
- Booking
The import status of the booking - either new or imported. Those that have been imported display a checkmark and the Booking ID.
Clicking on the status of the booking opens a modal with the details of the booking with options to Import Booking or View Booking depending on the status of the record.
Import External Bookings
Back to topClick Import Bookings to initiate the import process for any New External Bookings.
You are given the opportunity to make changes to the booking before proceeding.
