Admin or Staff user accounts only. Partner account logins are not supported.
Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic items, classic products, or both?
- This feature is available in both our classic versions: classic items (Inventory > Items).
- Important: Only the QR Code Scanner feature of the app, used to check in Guests via QR Barcodes on invoices, is supported for products (Inventory > Products) at this time.
About the iOS app
The Checkfront iOS app gives you access to your bookings and Customer information from your iPhone or iPad. It's useful when you're working away from a computer, like at a check-in desk, on a tour, or at a rental stand. All you need is an internet connection.
With the app, you can:
- Create new bookings
- View current and upcoming bookings
- Search bookings by Customer or date
- Check guests in by scanning the QR code on their invoice
- Check bookings in and out
- View and update booking notes
- Access your global bookmarks
- Add Customers to your phone's contacts
- Call Customers directly from the app
The app is free to download and works with Admin and Staff accounts.
Downloading and installing the app
To download and install the Checkfront iOS app:
- Open the iOS App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap Search and type Checkfront.
- Tap the Checkfront - Online Booking System app to view its details.
- Tap Get, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password if asked.
- Once it's installed, tap Open, or launch it from your Home Screen.
