Bulk updating bookings
You can select individual bookings or groups of bookings to update at once.
- Use the checkboxes beside each category or booking to select the bookings you wish to update.
- Click the Bulk Update button once at least one booking is selected.
- Fill out the fields in the Bulk Update modal (as described below)
- Click the Apply button to apply and save your changes.
From the Bulk Update modal, you have the following options.
|
Bookings with multiple items/products Bookings may contain more than one item/product, so a separate listing appears for each. If you select one of the listings, any other related listings are automatically selected. This feature is a quick way to identify bookings with multiple items or products! |
Confirming the number of bookings selected
You can confirm the number of bookings you are updating by referring to the number at the top of the modal:
- Text: Updates will be applied to # bookings
- Example: Updates will be applied to 2 bookings
|
Double-check the number of bookings! Note the number of bookings to update! Be sure this matches the number of bookings you intend to select so that you don't update any in error, especially if you choose to Deliver Notifications. |
Updating booking statuses
The Status drop-down menu lets you update the status of the selected booking(s). Select the new Status from the drop-down list.
|
What is a booking status? A booking status acts as a visual label and functional state for each booking in your system. |

Delivering notifications
If you update the bookings' status, you can also check the Deliver Notifications option. This setting ensures the system sends any associated booking notifications when the bulk update is applied.
|
What is an email notification? An email notification is an email message sent to your Customers to confirm booking actions and may include a booking confirmation, notice of changes made to the booking, or a payment request. |

Applying POS payments
If you bulk update bookings to a fully PAID status and have the setting Suggest applying a POS transaction when manually marking a Booking as Paid (Manage > Ecommerce Setup > Settings) turned on, you can see the Apply POS Payments checkbox under the Status field.
Select this option to automatically generate transactions with a POS payment for all the bookings in your batch.
Adding booking notes
Enter the text in the Add Booking Note field to add a note to all the bookings in the batch, such as a reason for your bulk update.
Updating the check in status
You can change the check-in status of the selected booking(s) using the Check In Status buttons.
The note field within the Booking Daily List is updated to include a log of this activity as soon as the change is applied.
|
Mixed check-in statuses Be careful when selecting multiple bookings! If the selected booking(s) are a mix of checked-in and checked-out, you may inadvertently check in or out of the bookings again. |
