Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic items, classic products, or both?
Your account must have access to classic items (Inventory > Items), a key feature of our classic items version of Checkfront.
This feature is not available for use with classic products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of the Checkfront classic products version. → Learn more about products
Opening the inventory calendar side panel
Inventory booked per day or per night
You can access more information and edit options for each per Day or per Night interval by clicking any cell with booked or available inventory. This option opens a panel on the side, allowing you to make edits. See the animated screenshot above for an example.
Inventory booked by timeslots or per time
You can view timeslots or per time inventory calendar rows by first expanding the calendar using the arrow (v) to the left of the product name.
You can then open the side panel by clicking on any cell with available or booked inventory to access more information and editing options. See the animated screenshot above for an example.

Maximum Available for the Day At the top of each timeslot and per time item section is a row of read-only cells. Considering existing bookings, these cells display the maximum available inventory for the day for the item in focus. |
Editing item availability
The information displayed in the side panel depends on how you have configured your inventory.
Are you using items to track inventory? Read the following to understand the available information and actions.

| Total | The total reflects the maximum available inventory for the timeslot or day, e.g., 25 beach umbrellas. | |
| Booked |
This value is the quantity of inventory that has been booked. This number is displayed for reference purposes only. The number changes as you receive new bookings or as bookings are canceled. |

Total - Booked = Available This value is the quantity of available inventory to be booked, excluding previously booked inventory.
You can adjust, reduce (-), or increase (+) quantity available for the inventory and interval in focus.

| Shared Inventory | If you have any inventory shared by other items (e.g., aliased inventory), a section displays any associated product bookings to give you a view of other bookings that are consuming inventory. | |

Notes |
You can add a note when you adjust inventory. You can view historical notes under the Activity Log tab or within the Activity Log report. |
